About Naturopathic Medicine

What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic medicine is recognized as a growing, sustainable field of medicine offering safe and effective, evidence-based patient centered care. Naturopathic physicians undergo four years of graduate-level education and training at accredited naturopathic medical schools, as well as complete licensing exams prior to practicing. NDs are equipped to not only diagnose and treat both acute and chronic illness, but focus on proactive and preventative care to help prevent illness and disease. The main goal of naturopathic medicine is to identify and treat the root cause of disease, utilizing various treatment modalities to help support an individual's self-healing process.
